Shawanand has a speciality to blend artistic elements into commercial films with a knack. All his films even though appear like commercial potboilers carry an underlying artistic finesse. Sharwa is not in the best of his form lately as he tasted three back-to-back flops. He is dearly longing for a hit now and choosing scripts very carefully. He is currently working for ‘Sreekaaram’ under the direction of Kishore Reddy.
Even though the film was originally scheduled to release on 24th April, pandemic applied breaks to its shoot seven months ago. ‘Sreekaaram’ is produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under ’14 Reels Plus’ banner. Sharwanand is playing the role of a farmer in this film. The team has resumed its shooting today following all the COVID guidelines. Ritu Varma is playing the female lead while Amala Akkineni is essaying a pivotal role in it.
