Telangana CM KCR came to the rescue of Tollywood which was hit badly by the pandemic and announced several waivers. He has issued a GO to reopen the theatres after ten months and lifted minimum power demand charges. KCR also permitted exhibitors to revise the ticket prices and provisioned them to increase the number of shows.
GST reimbursement for small budget movies stood as the major highlight in all his relief initiatives and the film fraternity is drenching KCR in praises. Superstar Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter and expressed his gratitude towards KCR and KTR in a hearty manner.
