The presence of the Telugu language on this Telugu soil is due to the virtues of great personalities like Bhadriraju Krishnamurthy, Budaraju Radhakrishna, Chekuri Ramarao, and Dr. Kavithilaka Tirunagari Ramanujam. The famed poet Tirunagari Ramanujam (75) died of a heart attack on Sunday night, April 25. Everyone says he can’t be honest. Dasarathy Award recipient Tirunagari ‘s service to the Telugu language is unique. Yadadri is the hometown of Aleru Tirunagari in the Bhuvanagiri district. If he teaches a Telugu lesson, the mind will not go elsewhere.
It is rare for a teacher to teach so well perfect Telugu. Tirunagari is a genius in poetry, prose, and textual poetry. Excellent perceptual talent and text made him a great orator. Quotations like the rites in many books are a beautiful separation from his mouth. Many have led the way in poetry. His hand in a literary review. If we read the letters written by him, we will forget the period.
During the Brahma Muhurat, he wakes up, holds a pen, and pens down his writings. It is offered in front of the people. Has published nearly 30 poetry collections. He has published collections of poetry such as Balaveera (Shatakam), Thirunagariyam (free verse volumes), Candle, Vasanthakosam, Vana-wada, Akshardhara, Gundelonchi, Ee Bhumi, Neerajanam, Mapalle. Literary articles and reviews written by him cannot be described in a few words.
Literacy for all
Tirunagari Ramanujam has helped educate several students in Aleru Zilla Parishad High School. Many of the students who studied under him became writers, journalists, and poets. Senior Journalist M.D. Abdul, Maya Srinivas, Padmalata, Syed Akram Ghori, Mohammad Siraj, Rambabu, Uppalaiya, Morigadi Srinivasa Gowda, Nagender, Bajjuri Ravinder, Mittapalli Srinivas, Vaddepalli Anjaneyulu, Nasser Sharif, Samudrala Sivakumar, Chittimalla Bhaskar, Rajireddy, Anjireddy, were his students.
His death has shocked us all. We have an inseparable connection with his family. We have a passion for Telugu literature because of his virtue. Many stories, poems, and myths were taught to touch the mind. We are proud to be his disciples. The state government is also proud to recognize their services and give the Dasaradhi Award. Poet Tirunagari will live on in the hearts of the people everlasting. May God give our childhood friend Tirunagari Srinivas some courage in such a moment.
Celebrities mourn Tirunagari’s demise
CM KCR expressed condolences over the death of Tirunagari Ramanujayya. He described the combination of modern values as text and verse poetry. Famous lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja, famous poet S Hargopal, Dr Lingampally Ramachandra, and others expressed their condolences. He was hailed by many as a walking library.
