Trisha Krishnan has seen an illustrious career as a heroine from the last two decades. No heroine in the present generation has enjoyed equal success to that of Trisha except Nayanthara. After Balayya’s Lion and lady oriented flick Nayaki, she is not seen in any of the Tollywood films.
Contrary to her diminishing craze in the TFI, Trisha tasted a couple of successes recently with 96 and Petta in Kollywood. This made her bag not one or two but six films in Tamil and one in Malayalam. This list includes Sathuranga Vettai 2 with Arvind Swamy and Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan.
Apart from these highly awaited projects, Trisha has recently bagged the opportunity to star in the remake of Bollywood hit Piku. Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Irrfan Khan played the leading roles in this 2015 comedy-drama. While Trisha is playing the leading role in this remake, the makers are going to announce details about the remaining cast and crew shortly.
