At a time when the probe into SSR’s death is taking several twists and turns, the former union minister and BJP MP Subrahmanyam Swamy has made some serious allegations in a series of tweets.
He said that conducting an autopsy on SSR’s body had been willfully delayed to suppress the cause of his death. An early postmortem might have unearthed the cause of death, he added.
In another tweet, the Rajya Sabha MP sought an investigation as to why SSR’s friend Sandip Singh had gone to Dubai several times. Swamy further claimed that he had information of a prominent drug dealer Ayaz Khan meeting SSR on the same day he allegedly committed suicide.
Swamy was among those who demanded a CBI inquiry into the death of SSR. He also expressed doubts over the way Mumbai police carried out their investigation in the incident.
After a nation-wide uproar following a complaint lodged by KK Singh, father of SSR, the Bihar State Government recommend for a CBI inquiry.
