As per media reports, YS Sharmila has decided to announce her party name on the 10th of April. Now the question that arises is why April 10th? Well, it was on that particular day that her father and late AP CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy had begun the Padayatra (Walkathon) from Chevella. It was that walk by YSR that brought back the glory of the Congress after 10-years in the state. It is this sentiment that might’ve led YS Sharmila to pick the date. Speculation among political circles is that a massive public rally is being planned and YS Sharmila would announce the party name and other details. On the other hand, another campaign states that YS Sharmila would launch a padayatra from Chevella on the particular day.
YS Sharmila’s plans to wrap up the Aatmeeya Sammelanam (friendly get-together) to be held in joint districts by April first-week, strengthens the claims. On April 10th, the walkathon led by the late AP CM completes 18 years and hence it is an important day for the YSR family. It is because of the significance of the day that YS Sharmila has decided to hold the crucial event.
