People of Andhra Pradesh seem to have forgotten about the Congress. Maybe this is the reason why the Congress party leaders came out to lend their support to the farmers who have been protesting for a year in Amravati. Now, the Congress leaders who came to support the farmers were apprehended by the police and were released later. Speaking on the issue PCC Chief Sake Sailajanath had found fault with the behaviour of AP CM YS Jagan.
Sailajanath said that they don’t know whether or not there is a Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh. He added that their requests for an appointment with the CM to talk on the Amaravati farmers issue went in vain. Since there was no response to their pleas, they decided to meet the farmers and this led the ruling YSRCP government to get them arrested.
He said that the people were irritated with the proceedings in the Assembly. He said that the YSRCP leaders don’t know how to answer the questions and they know only to shout. He said that their efforts will not stop here and they would write a letter to the chief minister and if he doesn’t respond an action plan will be created and they would go to the people.
The ruling party leaders say that no one can meet AP CM Jagan and that it is difficult to even YSRCP ministers to get an appointment. When there is no appointment for even their own party leaders, the Congress leaders anticipating a response is too much. It has to be seen whether the Chief Minister would at least respond to the letter of the Congress party leaders.
