The BJP was shocked by the election results in four states and one union territory of the country. Trinamool Mamata Banerjee is all set to take over for the third time in West Bengal’s most anticipated state-wide. Attempts by the BJP to seize power here have been thwarted. In Tamil Nadu, there was a headwind for the BJP-AIADMK (NDA). The DMK-Congress alliance came to power. The BJP alliance retained power in Assam as the LDF came to power in Kerala. In Puducherry, the BJP alliance won a majority of seats. On the whole, the BJP will come to power in Puducherry, which has 30 smaller seats, after losing in Tamil Nadu.
Mamata Banerjee wins in West Bengal
Voters in West Bengal, who are eagerly awaiting the turnout across the country, beat Mamata Banerjee. All India Trinamool Congress Party (AITC, TMC) tied to power. The Trinamool Congress won 148 of the 292 seats required for power. Mamata Banerjee won the Nandigram Assembly seat with a majority of 1200 votes. In the past, a volunteer officer from the TMC contested here and won with a majority of 81,000. However, he left the TMC a few years ago and joined the BJP. Mamata Banerjee is exceptionally competitive here. She embarked on a revenge fight against Suvendu Adhikari. However, despite the results of the first six rounds, Mamata Banerjee was trailing and finally took lead. The Trinamool Congress party ranks celebrated the victory of Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram, where the party came to power and created a stir. The Election Commission was outraged by the victory celebrations. Issued notices to several candidates. Here, the BJP will win almost 81 seats. In the 2016 elections, the TMC won 211 seats and 184 in 2011. This time it will be limited to 208.
In Tamil Nadu
