The vandalism on temples in AP still continues. Till date, the miscreants who have been vandalizing temples and idols, have stolen the idol of Lord Ganesh from a temple located in CM YS Jagan’s constituency. The incident which took place in Chagaleru village of Vemula mandal in Pulivendula constituency on Thursday night came to light lately. A complaint was filed on Friday morning with the police after localites found the idol missing from the temple.
Case registered
An investigation is underway to nab the culprits who stole the idol of Lord Ganesh from the Chagaleru temple. It is learnt that the police are trying to identify those responsible based on the CCTV footage. However, Sanjeev Reddy the SI of Vemula Mandal opines that the person who first knew about the news of idol missing might be the one behind the theft. A manhunt is on to nab the accused.
