It appears that faction politics has once again begun in Anantapur. The political atmosphere in Tadipatri heated up after YSRCP MLA Pedda Reddy along with his followers attacked the house of JC Prabhakar Reddy. Now, the TDP leader and Former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy made sensational allegations that government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy was trying to kill him. Though there is a risk on his life, he has not been provided gunmen nor have they renewed the personal gun license, he said.
JC Prabhakar Reddy disclosed to the media about the horror of Tadipatri MLA and his father. Alleging that these two looted gold from the villagers in 1993 and said that people like them should be in Chambal Valley. He said that Pedda Reddy didn’t appear to come for talks… will anyone come with weapons to talk? He said, he will not lodge a complaint with the police; they should book a suo moto case by going through the video footage. He said if he books a case, nine police personnel and a SI will get suspended. Hence, he said he was not lodging a complaint as he does not want their lives to get miserable.
Prabhakar Reddy said that all were saying that there is a pressure from the higher-ups. “The SP says there is nothing in my hand, pressure from the top. You became IPS because you have a brain. The respect for the police dress has gone with your behaviour. They are harassing me by not giving licenses for my buses for the last one year,” said Prabhakar.
