Nithin’s career got revived after Bheeshma which was released earlier this year. His Rang De and Check are on the verge of completion. We all know that this young hero bagged the rights of Bollywood hit Andhadhun awhile ago. Merlapaka Gandhi will be helming the megaphone for this remake.
The makers have started its shoot on Sunday in Dubai. Milky beauty Tamannaah is roped in to play the antagonist’s role essayed by Tabu in the original. Nabha Natesh is pairing opposite Nithin for the first time in this black comedy. Andhadhun collected a stellar Rs.456crore against a budget of Rs.32crore and was also critically acclaimed.
This made Nithin bag its remake rights and is bankrolling it on his own banner. Merlapaka Gadhi made films like Venkatadri Express, Xpress Raja, and Krishnarjuna Yudham previously. He is known for his impeccable comedy timing and racy screenplay. Let’s wish Nithin and Gandhi all the best for their ambitious remake.
