The Bihar election results have led to a new debate in the country’s politics. The results of the Bihar elections have proved that we can gain power by breaking the strength of our opponents. The MIM, which is confined to the Telangana capital, Hyderabad Old City, contested the Bihar elections and manipulated the results by garnering huge votes. The MIM was able to snatch votes heavily in the Muslim-majority Seemanchal or Purnia district.
MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi was able to raise the issue of CAA, which he termed was aimed at Muslim minorities. Owaisi also lashed out at the Congress for not speaking out against the CAA. It seems that the Owaisi’s call to defeat the RJD, which had an alliance with the Congress, had paid off.
MIM won five seats in Bihar
MIM candidates have won five Assembly seats in Bihar. MIM candidates emerged victorious in Amour, Kochadhaman, Jokihat, Baisi and Bahadurganj constituencies. In another 60 seats, the MIM party candidates won a significant number of votes, leading to the defeat of the RJD. Tejaswi Yadav’s criticism that BJP leaders have entered into a secret pact with the MIM to split the Muslim votes, who have been supporting the Congress party for a long time, too cannot be ruled out.
Will compete in all states… Asaduddin Owaisi
MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has announced that he will be contesting in all the major states in the country, which include the forthcoming elections in Bengal. If this happens, there are chances that Mamata Banerjee who is ruling Bengal politics with Muslim votes could end. Because the splitting of Muslim votes in West Bengal will benefit the BJP.
BJP senior leader Amit Shah recently announced that the party would win in the ensuing elections in Bengal. Political analysts opine that they are surprised by Shah’s remarks. It is known that Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently visited Bengal and observed the political developments from the ground level. While, Asaduddin Owaisi, who gets infuriated by the BJP, seems to be vying for the victory of BJP candidates by contesting in all the states. There is no doubt that the BJP leaders who analysed the Bihar results will spread the formula across the country. In the Bihar elections, it was a smaller party which affected the results of the bigger parties.
