Srikanth starred in more than 100 films and Preyasi Raave stands as one of the biggest hits in his career.
Preyasi Raave completed 21 years recently and Srikanth interacted with media to share some memorable experiences about the film. ‘I got the golden opportunity to star in Suresh Productions at the beginning of my career once and Preyasi Raave is my second film in the same production house. Ramanaidu Garu encouraged me to take up the hero’s role in it and the sentiment in the film still makes my eyes moist. Raasi gave a memorable performance in it and in fact heroines like Ramya Krishnan, Roja, and Soundarya who acted with me are great co-stars. We used to be friendly with each other’, said Srikanth.
He further added ‘Roja shares a great rapport with me and used to call me ‘Annayya’. While we were both shooting for romantic scenes, Roja’s brotherly address used to annoy me as I can’t express romantic feelings for the camera. I told her to stop calling me brother for some time while we are shooting which made her laugh like anything’.
