Power star Pawan Kalyan is traveling at jet speeds when it comes to signing films in his second innings. He is now busy with Vakeel Saab which is the remake of the Bollywood hit film Pink. Pawan is playing the role of a lawyer in this Venu Sriram directorial. Power star’s fans are eagerly waiting for this movie as Pawan is returning to films almost after three years with it.
This 49-year-old has committed to do the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum which is made by Sithara Entertainments. The makers have already released an announcement video that showcases Pawan in the cop’s role. AK was a smashing hit at the Mollywood box office starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon. The plot of it revolves around the ego clashes between an ex-Havildar and a cop. Both roles have equal weight in Malayalam and this made the film an enjoyable watch.
But when it comes to Tollywood, Pawan has stellar craze and his fans never accept him to be equal to any other hero on the screen. Industry sources are abuzz that director Saagar K. Chandra has decreased the significance of Havildar’s role which will be played most probably by Rana Daggubati. When the media asked about the same, Saagar told that there is no truth in it. He told that both the characters will behave according to the story as in the original and urged the fans not to believe in the rumors. He added that he is eagerly waiting for the inception of the shoot.
