It is known that TDP leader and former AP Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya’s every effort to secure a bail following her arrest in connection with the Bowenpally kidnap case over the Hafeezpet land dispute went in vain. The police having arrested Akhila Priya, are on a manhunt to nab the other accused Bhargav Ram and Madala Srinu AKA Guntur Srinu who are still at large. The Court rejected the bail plea of Bhuma Akhila Priya, as police objected to granting her bail fearing that the accused might influence the case by tampering evidence. Hence her bail plea was rejected thrice. Another attempt to secure bail will be heard by the court on Monday. Even the police are organising a press conference daily and explaining the case hearing. However, several political twists in the case have led to suspicions.
If Akhila Priya is let out, she might influence the case and hence police requested the court against granting her bail. In fact, it would be easier to secure bail if all the accused in the case are apprehended by the police. However, if bail is not granted thereafter, it may be noted that there are several other circumstances, which includes intent to commit another crime. Previously, in a similar instance in AP, many cases including that of Atchannaidu Kinjarapu and Chintamaneni Prabhakar had its effect on bail, as several accused were still on the run. Along with Akhila Priya’s husband Bhargav Ram, his mother Kiranmai is allegedly suspected to have played a role in the case. Even the past relationship between Akhila Priya and Bhargav Ram has now come to the fore.
