Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba Group and the co-founder of Ant has finally appeared, ending months-long uncertainty about his presence. The 56-yr old Chinese business magnate was seen addressing a teachers conference on an online blog. He had reportedly stressed the importance of encouraging rural tutors. The news of the billionaire was confirmed by sources having knowledge on the issue. Earlier, as reported the Chinese government had monitored the sudden suspension of Ant’s whopping $37 billion IPO in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Even Chinese antitrust authorities had launched investigations on Alibaba Group Holding founded by Ma over growing concerns of monopoly, while the People’s Bank of China had sought radical changes to be made by the firm in its lending and other consumer finance operations.
Now the emergence of Jack Ma brings to an end all the rumours of him having gone missing.
