Rakul Preet Singh was recently questioned by Narcotics Control Bureau officials in the drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. This shocking development doesn’t seem to have any effect on her career as she is getting busy with crazy projects. Rakul is already busy with Check directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti starring Nithin in the leading role and Kamal Haasan’s Bharateeyudu-2 directed by Shankar.
She is now offered a role in Bollywood film Mayday starring Ajay Devgan and Amitabh Bachchan. Ajay Devgan is directing this thriller drama in which Rakul Preet will be donning a pilot’s role. Talking about the project, Rakul revealed ‘I have already worked with Ajay Sir in the past and feel extremely lucky to be acting as a co-pilot with him in this film again. My long-awaited dream of working with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is coming true with this film’.
Ajay Devgan is directing Amitabh for the first time and the duo has shared the screen space in films like Major Saab, Khakee, and Satyagraha earlier. The regular shooting of Mayday will commence in December.
