When the YSRCP came to power after the election, he once again jumped into the YSRCP. With this, he seems to have served the two major parties in the AP. There are rumours in district politics that David Raju is ready to jump after TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu gives the green signal.
David Raju told in a press meet that some TDP leaders in Yerragondapalem were inviting him to join the party. Constituency leaders, however, addressed a press conference and said that the TDP would be wiped out if he joins, and strongly opposed his entry. The same was conveyed to the party leadership. With this, it seems that no decision has been taken regarding David Raju.
David Raju was invited into the TDP before the 2019 election. The then Prakasam District Minister Shidda Raghava Rao assured David Raju that he would support him financially if he joined the TDP. Believing it to be true, David Raju joined the TDP before the 2019 elections. Elections have come but David Raju did not receive any financial assistance. He was angry with the TDP leaders. He re-joined the YSRCP.
This time, even in this party no one was ready to greet David Raju. The party seniors are not even giving an appointment. With this, it seems that David Raju is in a hurry to damage the YSRCP in Prakasam district. He thinks TDP is the right platform for this. David Raju said that he would continue to render services to the TDP if Chandrababu allows him. However, he has not yet received the green signal from Chandrababu.
It seems that the TDP chief is not yet ready to avail the services of David Raju. Even the YCP leaders are not bothering to care about David Raju. Now, he may have to look towards BJP and Janasena.
