Noose is getting tightened around Rhea’s neck in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. Her brother Shovik Chakraborthy was arrested on Friday night. Sources say Rhea’s arrest will happen in a day or two. She attended the CBI enquiry on Saturday and alleged that the media was organizing a witch hunt against her for TRPs, “Media is portraying me as a villain in this case and I don’t even want to apply for a bail after my arrest,” Rhea said.
We all know that CBI investigation unearthed the nefarious link between Bollywood and drugs while investigating into Sushant’s case. As her brother Shovik and Sushant’s manager Miranda were already arrested, Rhea’s family is worried that she might be arrested anytime soon.
The apex investigation agency believes that there is a strong reason behind Sushant’s suicide and Rhea has everything to do with it. NCB officials even collected evidences about the rave parties that took place in Sushant’s flat and farm house. They believe that these parties were organized by Rhea and Shovik. They got hold of Rhea’s Whatsapp conversations with various drug dealers and it seems all doors are closed for Rhea as of now.
Rhea’s father, Rtd. Lieutenant Colonel Indrajit tweeted an ironic post saying “Congrats India…You have arrested my son, I ‘m sure that next on the line is my daughter and I don’t know who is next thereafter. You have successfully demolished a middle class family. But of course, for the sake of justice everything is justified.”
Rhea was interrogated along with Shovik, Sushant’s manager Samuel Miranda and drug dealers Kaizan Ibrahim, Zaid Viltara, and Abdul Basith Parihar on Saturday.
Rhea’s background
Daughter of an army officer, Rhea was born on July 1st of 1992 in Bangalore. She studied at the Army School in Ambala and began her career as a video jockey in a TV channel. Rhea starred alongside Sumanth Ashwin in ‘Tuneega Tuneega’ in Tollywood. She entered Bollywood with ‘Meri Dad Ki Maruthi’ and went on to star in ‘Bank Chor’ made by Yash Raj Films. Her roles in ‘Half Girlfriend’, ‘Dobara’ and ‘Jalebi’ got mediocre recognition. Sushant’s former manager Disha also committed suicide five days before Sushant’s incident. Now CBI is trying to find if there is a Rhea link in Disha’s suicide too.
