TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna took to Twitter and lashed out at YSRCP MP V Vijayasai Reddy. Earlier, the National General Secretary of the YSRCP had accused the former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu of wasting public money during the TDP regime. In a strong counter, the TDP MLC said that it is the ruling YSRCP that’s resorting to public money wastage.
Allegations by the MLC
The TDP MLC took potshots at V Vijayasai Reddy saying that it was AP CM YS Jagan who looted Rs. 43,000 crore from the public and ate it for 16 months. “If public money was wasted on Polavaram Yatra, will the YSRCP psycho batch keep quiet?” the TDP MLC questioned, adding that Polavaram project has been the dream of Telugu people for nearly 70 years, and since Chandrababu Naidu completed 70% of the project, he was optimistic about completing it and had the right to tell the public. Buddha Venkanna even went on to say that the TDP supremo had fought against the Centre regarding AP’s issues, unlike YSRCP leaders who did ‘foot massages’ to Delhi leaders.
The TDP MLC questioned YSRCP’s audacity to ask them regarding money wastage, while criticising the latter for using party colours on school children’s belts and socks. Buddha Venkanna continued to fire saying AP CM YS Jagan spent Rs. 16 crores towards construction of Tadepalli residence, Rs. 27 crores for father YSR’s cemetery, Rs. 60 crores for his advisors who give useless suggestions, Rs. 60 lakhs as weekly expenses for attending CBI court, hundreds of crores towards lawyers’ fees for revenge politics and newspaper business. If the total account is taken, another 10 Polavaram projects could be built, the TDP MLC said.
