It is known that the AP High Court had ordered an investigation following a petition filed by the YSRCP Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani against the SEC barring the latter from speaking to media till February 21. Dismissing the orders by SEC against Kodali Nani, the AP High Court made it clear that the Minister can address the media, however, warned him from making remarks against the Election Commission and State Election Commissioner.
Earlier, SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar had issued notices to the YSRCP Minister Kodali Nani for his derogatory speeches. The SEC took cognizance of the derogatory speeches made by Kodali Nani in the media conference and therefore issued show-cause notices and a restraining order against him.
