నిన్న మొన్నటివరకూ దేశంలో కరోనా కరాళ నృత్యం చేసింది. దాని ప్రభావం ఇంకా పూర్తిగా తగ్గనే లేదు. అప్పుడే పులిమీద పుట్రలా.. ఉభయ తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు విరుచుకుపడి జనజీవనాన్ని అస్థవ్యస్తం చేసేశాయి. ముఖ్యంగా హైద్రాబాద్ లో అయితే గడిచిన వందేళ్ళలోనూ ఎప్పుడూ లేని విధంగా కుండపోతగా కురిసిన వర్షాల వల్ల అపార ప్రాణనష్టం జరగడంతో పాటు .. వేలాది మంది నిరాశ్రయులయ్యారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ప్రకృతి భీభత్సంతో అల్లాడిపోతున్న వారికి అండగా నిలిచేందుకు మన టాలీవుడ్ కదిలివచ్చింది. పలువురు స్టార్ హీరోలు, నిర్మాతలు, దర్శకులు తమ వంతు సహాయంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి సహాయనిధికి భారీ విరాళాలు ప్రకటించారు. మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి రూ. 1కోటి విరాళం ప్రకటించగా.. మహేశ్ బాబు సైతం రూ. 1కోటి ప్రకటించారు. ప్రభాస్ కూడా కోటిన్నర విరాళం ప్రకటించారు. జనసేన అధినేత పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ కోటి రూపాయలు ప్రకటించారు. కింగ్ నాగార్జున రూ. 50లక్షలు, యన్టీఆర్ రూ. 50లక్షలు, విజయ్ దేవరకొండ రూ. 10లక్షలు, రామ్ పోతినేని రూ. 25 లక్షలు, హారిక హాసిని క్రియేషన్స్ వారు రూ. 10 లక్షలు, దర్శకుడు త్రివిక్రమ్ శ్రీనివాస్ రూ. 10 లక్షలు, దర్శకుడు అనిల్ రావిపూడి రూ. 5లక్షలు, దర్శకుడు హరీశ్ శంకర్ రూ. 5లక్షలు విరాళాలు ప్రకటించారు.
